Gods Unconditional Love
God's Unconditional Love: Living in Love to be Authentic for Him.
Written by Shannon Petty
In January, I asked the Lord to give me a word to focus on in 2022. Immediately in my spirit, the word LOVE came to me loud and clear. I accepted that and went to work, digging into what God meant.
Lately, I’ve been really really listening to God in an authentic way that I haven’t been before (although I thought I was). Ask yourself: Have you ever just felt confused about relationships in your life without knowing why? Or perhaps putting all the blame for the success (or lack of) on yourself?
God wants to help you! God shared with me that yes, I have a responsibility for every relationship; however, so does that other person.
As I really am studying God's unconditional love, and what truly that means (see 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, 1 John 4:16, Proverbs 3:3-4, 1 Corinthians 13:13), I’ve been diving into early childhood programming. Did you know we are in a theta state of mind until we are 7 years old? God's got a plan for this; however, for so many, this gives us a programming that is not within God's unconditional love. This has been valuable to me to study. To recognize that some early childhood programming has been a reason for why I believe and behave the way I do.
With all this said, my goal is to LOVE the way he does, unconditionally, and have healthy boundaries, too!! There is freedom in this, and when we are living authentically for him, amazing things happen in the kingdom! Thanks to God, Jesus and Holy Spirit for the gifts and the teachings they give us. To God be the Glory! - and Joshua 24:2!!!
