Brief History of WFRN & WCMR
WFRN has been playing contemporary Christian music on our Michiana station for over 35 years ... but the story does not begin in 1979! As WCMR and WFRN, our AM station has been serving the Elkhart community since 1956, receiving national recognition and serving our community with local programming and Christian programming for more than 60 years.
Mission & Purpose
The future holds many exciting advances for WFRN as we continue to be one of the nation’s leaders in Christian radio, while keeping focused on our goal of:
