Momma, you're not alone.
Have you ever been surrounded by people and still felt alone?
Yeah, I get that.
The other day I was cleaning the chaos in my living room with all 3 children quickly undoing my progress, my husband trying to have a conversation with me while I cleaned, and the dog trying to lay on every stuffed animal I wanted to pick up. And somehow I felt alone.
How is that even possible?? Surrounded by people, conversations, and activity... And yet I thought to myself, "I am alone in this mess. Nobody even understands."
Have you been there? Me too.
Momma, I have good news for you: You are Not Alone. And I'm not saying that simply because every momma has been there (although there is comfort knowing others are out there going through this too!). I'm saying it because of what God has promised to us in His Word!
Here are just a few of my favorite promises from Scripture:
Sweet sister-friend, God is with you, even in the lonely chaos. He gives you the strength to carry on, and He joins you in carrying on! He upholds you and even wants to heal that broken heart that feels alone!
So, in those crazy, messy, often-lonely moments, I want you to take that thought captive and bring to mind these verses to combat the feelings of loneliness. Write them on sticky notes and post them around the house. Find verse graphics and make them the wallpaper on your phone or computer. Do whatever makes sense to help you remember that God is with you and ready to help you!
Father God,
I pray for this sweet friend who is reading this post. Please grant peace, comfort, and strength to carry on. Please take away the feelings of loneliness - we know that's a lie from the enemy!
Thank you for caring so much for us that you promise to never leave us.
We love you and ask for everything in Jesus' name,
Amen.

- Deuteronomy 31:6 - "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."
- Psalm 73:26 - "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
- Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Psalm 147:3 - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
