Legacy  Giving

A Legacy Story

About 7 years ago, Your Friend, WFRN was feeling the crunch of a devastating recession that hit our community particularly hard. You probably remember how difficult those times were...

WFRN was praying for and believing-in a miracle for us to continue to stay on air. One of those answers came in the form of a surprise generous specific bequest from a faithful listener's estate. We were absolutely stunned. The gift came at crucial time, and we are on the air today partly because of the amazing legacy of a local family.

Did you know that you could make an impact like that too?
We would be humbled if you would prayerfully consider adding a gift to the ministry of WFRN to your planned giving.

Frequently Asked Questions

About Legacy Giving

Q: What is a Legacy Gift?
A: At WFRN, we call a financial gift given at the time of passing, a Legacy Gift. It’s an opportunity to bless a local ministry, and your family in return by showing just how important investing in The Lord’s work, your community, and encouraging generosity is to you.

Q: How do I make a Legacy Gift to WFRN?
A: Contact your estate planning attorney and/or financial advisor to add WFRN as a beneficiary to your Last Will and Testament or Trust, and/or as a named beneficiary to an investment account. However, if and when you do make a decision to give, we would love to thank you! Please call us and let us know!
Q: I don’t have any estate planning documents, how do I get some?
A: WFRN would be happy to refer you to a trusted Christian attorney. Just call 574-875-5166.

Q: Do I have to wait until I go to heaven to donate to WFRN?
A: No. We have a giving page here and you can make a donation there at any time! You may also mail a gift to PO Box 307, Elkhart, IN 46515.

Q: Can I stay Anonymous?
A: You certainly can. We won't tell anyone about your gift if you wish to do your giving in secret. (Matthew 6:4) Let us know if you wish to be kept anonymous and we will honor that.
