WEST LAFAYETTE--- A council on invasive plant species that was created by the lawmakers, is trying to get the word out about invasive plants species from spreading in Indiana. A species specialist with Purdue, says invasive plants are a major threat to Indiana and the nation. He says the invasive weeds are a kind of biological pollution that displaces plants and animals.
