MICHIGAN-- It was a proud day for Michigan. The GOP statehouse voted to pass right-to-work laws for private sector workers. The measure passed Thursday on a 22-16 vote.. The bill would prohibit unions from collecting fees from nonunion workers, which opponents say would weaken a worker's ability to bargain for good wages. Supporters say it would boost jobs.
