Staunch conservative Senator Jim DeMint is leaving Congress to take over as the president of The Heritage Foundation. DeMint has been one of the most outspoken conservative voices in the Senate. Conservatives say his exit will be a big loss for them in the Senate but a big gain for The Heritage Foundation.
