INDIANAPOLIS-- The man about to leave as state School Superintendent in Indiana will seek his next job in the South. Tony Bennett says he has applied to be Florida‘s next education commissioner, a position that unlike Indiana, is not filled by voters. Bennett is one of more than 50 applicants for the job, but he is expected to be a leading candidate.
