ELKHART-- An Elkhart City Council committee will discuss the proposed stoplight ordinance that includes a ban on sidewalk sign wavers. The committee received the ordinance last week after objections over a provision that would ban people from standing on sidewalks waving signs to promote businesses. This form of marketing is popular with some pizza and gold stores.
