NORTH CAROLINA-- They chose to avoid legal action.. School officials at Western Piedmont Community College had replaced the word "Chritmas Tree Sale" to "Holiday Tree Sale" for a fundraiser. But the Alliance Defending freedom responded with a letter to the college, pointing out that it had violated the religious freedom law, and if they didn't leave the original words, the ADF would take legal action.
