VALPARAISO-- A former Valparaiso Police Department employee is suing her former employer for age discrimination. The 73-year-old Sonja Stansberry was given an ultimatum to retire or be fired. Stansberry says she was suspended then fired after she filed a discrimination charge, so she is now pursuing the case in federal court.
