WASHINGTON, DC-- A racial harassment lawsuit against Ball State has gone to the U-S Supreme Court. The court is using the lawsuit by a Ball State catering assistant to clarify a pair of 1998 rulings on workplace harassment. Those rulings, concluded that an employer is automatically liable for harassment by a supervisor if the harasser is just a co-worker.
