LOS ANGELES— Four Southern California men are behind bars for plotting to kill Americans and destroy U.S targets overseas. Federal officials say the men were plotting to bomb military bases by joining al-Qaida and the Taliban in Afghanistan. If convicted, they could face up to 15 years in prison.
