They're agreeing to pay 4.5 billion. BP pleaded guilty to criminal misconduct on Thursday over the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The AP says the settlement includes a 1.256 billion dollar criminal fine. The top Democrat on the House of Natural Resources told the press that BP lied to him and to all Americans. 11 workers lost their lives in the 2010 spill.
