MICHIGAN-- A judge ruled on Thursday that Michigan's ban on affirmative action in college admissions is unconstitutional. In an 8 to 7 vote, the court said the 2006 amendment to the Michigan Constitution is illegal because it weakens citizens' equal access to tools of political change.
