WASHINGTON-- For the very first time, the U.S Senate will welcome a (boo-dist) Buddhist member, and the House of Representatives will have it's first Hindu member. Mazie Hirono will be sworn in as the Senate's first Buddhist. And her House seat will be filled by Tulsi Gabbard who will become the first Hindu in Congress.
