VALPARAISO-- A candidate for the Porter County Board of Commissioners is facing DUI charges after being arrested Saturday morning. 45-year-old Michael Heinold was stopped shortly after midnight with a blood-alcohol content of point-one-three. Heinold faces charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
