If you think gas is expensive here, try going to California where prices rose to $4.67 a gallon. The spike in gas prices comes after Governor Jerry Brown called for emergency measures on Sunday to provide some relief to motorists. He ordered to immediately allow refineries to make a winter blend gas—weeks earlier than usual.
