Hunting for deer will be a little difficult this year.. DNR Officials say an insect-spread deer disease is killing deer in at least 24 couties. It's called epizootic and it comes from a type of fly that bites deer. DNR confirms that we've lost a little over 4 thousand deer in Indiana from this virus. But don't worry, this disease isn't transferable to humans.
