Well Apple fell short of some analysts who estimated to sell over 10 million iPhone 5's. But they still surpassed a record set last year by the previous iPhone 4S, selling more than 5 million units in the first 3 days. Apple officials say hundreds of stores were sold out of its initial supply but that didn't stop people from getting the new iPhone. Many would instead, order it.
