A 17-year-old Dowagiac student is behind bars for having weapons at school. Officials say Tom Atkinson also had more in his car..A school official discovered a tip that led to his arrest at Dowagiac Union High School. The Dowagiac Police Department and Cass County officials are working together to continue investigating the case.
