Big news from Notre Dame.. The Fighting Irish will leave the Big East and join the Atlantic Coast Conference in all sports except football and hockey. The Notre Dame football team will remain an independent, but will play five games per year against A-C-C teams..They're scheduled to make the move as soon as they can exit the Big East.
