The U.S. Postal Service is losing money, so there's a big move to eliminate our Saturday mail delivery. The Postal Service is looking at closing some branches, cutting hours, overtime, some jobs and expanding its self-service centers after losing three-point-eight billion dollars in 2009 when mail volume was down 12-percent. Indiana postal spokeswoman Kim Yates says the Postal Service could save big money by cutting Saturday mail delivery. Yates says a majority of people support the decision to stop Saturday service if it means staying present in the community. The Postal Service is asking Congress for the flexibility to make the change.
