Terry today plans to hold a news conference at the Chicago Catholic Archdiocese office to call on Cardinal George to retract his statement that Notre Dame should not "dis-invite President Obama," who is scheduled to speak at the May 17th commencement and receive an honorary law degree. Terry says Cardinal George has crippled his group's efforts to draw attention to the conflict between Notre Dame's invite to Obama and Obama's extreme pro-abortion policies, which are against Catholic church teachings. Terry not only wants Notre Dame to uninvite Obama but wants school President John Jenkins fired. Terry says his group, Operation Rescue, is following the example of Doctor Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement and says his group will not be ignored at Notre Dame.
