If you were one of the tens of thousands of people in Indiana and Michigan out of work who had their jobless benefits suddenly cut off this week, you can now go online to apply for the help you were supposed to get since Congress has authorized a 30-day extension. Marc Lotter of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development says the new extension only carries people through April 5th. He says about 300-thousand Hoosiers are unemployed, with some 250-thousand receiving benefits from the government.
