March for Jesus - May 22, 1999

March For Jesus was held May 22nd, 1999, in over 550 cities across America, Canada, and around the world. Marches in the WFRN listening area included Elkhart, Frankfort, Gas City, Kokomo, New Carlisle, and South Bend Indiana, and Coldwater and Niles Michigan. Thousands of people turned out across Michiana and Northern Indiana for March for Jesus. Taking to the streets for an audience of One.

The March for Jesus is organized as a community wide unity event. Marchers cross all denominational, racial, and age boundries. MFJ is not a protest march, nor do the marchers march to support any political candidiate, party, or political goal. Marchers set aside their politics to join together and march as Christians, together marching for Jesus Christ our Lord.

Below are a few pictures from the Elkhart march, as broadcast live on WFRN. You can also listen to the reports from area March for Jesus cities by clicking HERE.
