People from around the country came to WFRN on Thursday, December 16th, to start the replacement of our antenna and feed line. The first step: Remove the old antenna and feedline.
 A local tow truck company is called in to unload the semi. |

 A large winch was brought in to handle the weight of the antenna being replaced. |
 The final section of the old antenna is lowered to the ground. |

 When the antenna and feed line shorted out it melted a portion of the feed line (as well as the antenna - turned blue in the photos above). |
 The center core of the feed line is pulled up enough to see a hole that was burned clean through. |
