As a public service to area churches and Christian organizations, WFRN sets aside a certain amount of time (and this webspace) for announcements of events which are of interest to all our listeners. The catagories are:
1. Church Events: This is a free event where a free-will offering may be taken
2. Community Events: This is a free event with no ticket charge. It may be a fund raiser with the proceeds going to a project within the community.
3. Community Service: Programs and services for which there is no charge for participation, such as homeless shelters, pregnancy centers, etc.

Every 3rd Saturday of every month - 9:00am to 10:00am - Super Saturday at College Park Missionary Church. For ages 4 through 3rd grade. Transportation can be provided if needed. September 17
September 17 at 7:00pm and September 18 from 10:00am to 3:00pm, Awaken All Generations 2010 Conference, Abundant Life Church. Come for two days of faith-filled preaching and dynamic worship. Featuring Pastor Charles Riley, ALC Worship Band and Feet Afire Dance Team. Cost is free, and childcare will be provided for children 4 and under. Saturday, Sept 17 at 7:00pm. September 18, Saturday, Pet Refuge's Annual Mutt March at St. Patrick's County Park. Registration and breakfast are 9:00am to 10:30am. The walk starts at 10:30am. Demonstrations and lunch to follow the walk. Support Pet Refuge's annual Mutt March event to raise money for the homeless dogs and cats in Michiana.
